Summerhill's Dedicated Student Support Centre
The Joy of Learning Hub (JOL) is the dedicated student support arm of Summerhill School - a centre designed to help every learner build confidence, close learning gaps, and develop the skills they need to thrive. JOL goes well beyond academics: it offers both general and specialised support programmes individually tailored to each student's unique challenges.
Whether a student needs targeted subject tutoring, help developing study habits, or a deeper level of personalised support to address specific learning, emotional or personal barriers, JOL's experienced team designs a programme around that individual - not a generic template.
Backed by an innovative Learning Management System (LMS) platform, JOL bridges the gap between the classroom and home, giving students the tools and structure to take real ownership of their learning journey.

Personalised Support
Every student is different. JOL designs support around the individual - from tutoring and study skills coaching to specialised personal support including mentoring, life coaching, and access to psychological and emotional wellness services. No two programmes are the same.
Experienced Tutors
Sessions are delivered by qualified, experienced educators who know the Summerhill curriculum inside out and understand how to motivate learners.
